Because Constant Media provides digital signage networks and services within healthcare offices, it is important to clarify our position regarding health data. Constant Media is generally not a “Covered Entity” as defined under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”).

Accordingly, our Services typically do not actively collect Protected Health Information (PHI) directly from patients. Any health-related personal information that you provide to us directly will be handled in accordance with this Policy. If we process any PHI on behalf of a healthcare provider, it will be handled strictly in accordance with any applicable Business Associate Agreement (BAA) executed between Constant Media and that provider.
